When dull surface build-up makes pigmentation look darker.

Pigmentation can look heavier and more uneven when discoloured surface cells remain visible, texture becomes rough or congestion leaves behind new marks. Resurface+ targets this surface component of the pigment cycle.

01

Lifts dull surface build-up

Helps loosen retained surface cells that can leave melasma and dark patches looking flat, muddy or more pronounced.

02

Refines rough texture

Smooths uneven-feeling skin so light reflects more evenly and the complexion looks clearer and more polished.

03

Clears visible congestion

Helps remove pore-clogging build-up that can contribute to breakouts, texture and lingering post-breakout marks.

04

Supports brighter-looking tone

Combines controlled exfoliation with tone-supporting actives to reveal fresher, more even-looking skin.

Resurfacing is one part of effective pigmentation care.

Melasma is not caused by surface build-up alone. It also involves ongoing pigment production and trigger sensitivity. Resurface+ addresses the visible surface component while your daily pigment treatments and SPF address continued pigment formation.

Retained discoloured cells

Pigmented cells can remain visible at the surface, making existing patches appear darker and slower to clear.

Uneven surface reflection

Rough, dull texture reflects light irregularly and can make uneven tone appear more noticeable.

Congestion and post-breakout marks

Blocked pores and breakouts can create additional discolouration on skin already prone to pigmentation.

Over-exfoliation can work against you

More peeling is not always better. Excess irritation may aggravate pigment-prone skin, which is why Resurface+ is designed as a timed rinse-off treatment.

01

Apply to clean, dry skin

Apply a thin, even layer across the face, avoiding the eye area, lips and neck.

  • Do not apply to wet or damp skin.
  • Do not use on broken, burned or irritated skin.
  • Avoid freshly waxed or recently treated areas.
02

Leave on for 10–15 minutes

Allow the treatment to work for no longer than 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.

  • Begin with one treatment per week.
  • Increase to twice weekly only if well tolerated.
  • Rinse immediately if burning or significant discomfort occurs.
Protect freshly resurfaced skin

Use SPF 50+ every day and limit unnecessary sun and heat exposure. Do not use Resurface+ in the same routine as another acid peel, strong exfoliant, microneedling treatment or recently performed professional resurfacing treatment.

What consistent, controlled use can help improve.

Results vary by skin condition and routine. Resurface+ is designed to support gradual surface refinement rather than aggressive daily peeling.

After treatment

Smoother, fresher-looking skin

Dull surface build-up is loosened so the skin can feel smoother and appear more polished.

With regular use

More refined-looking texture

Congestion and uneven-feeling areas may appear less prominent as the surface becomes clearer.

Inside a pigment routine

Brighter, more even-looking tone

Controlled renewal helps remove the dull surface component while daily pigment care and SPF support longer-term correction.

Questions customers usually ask first.

Yes, when used carefully as a controlled surface-renewal step. Resurface+ helps address dull build-up, texture and retained discoloured surface cells. It does not replace daily pigment-regulating care or SPF, because melasma also involves ongoing pigment production and trigger sensitivity.
Not necessarily. Some skin may experience temporary dryness or light flaking, while other skin may simply feel smoother. Visible shedding is not required for the treatment to be effective, and stronger peeling does not automatically mean a better result.
Start with one treatment per week. If your skin tolerates it without ongoing redness, burning or irritation, you may increase to twice weekly. Do not exceed the recommended treatment time.
Avoid using another peel, strong exfoliating acid or retinoid in the same routine. Keep the surrounding routine simple and barrier-supportive, particularly if your skin is reactive or prone to post-inflammatory pigmentation.
Yes. Resurfacing acids can increase sun sensitivity, and unprotected UV exposure can undermine progress by darkening pigmentation again. Use SPF 50+ daily and limit unnecessary sun exposure.
No. Resurface+ is an intensive rinse-off facial intended for weekly use. It should not be applied as an overnight treatment or used every day.

Surface renewal is only one part of controlling melasma.
