Description

The Melasma Facials System is a professional-grade 4-step facial routine for melasma-prone skin, stubborn-looking pigmentation, dullness and uneven tone.

It combines controlled exfoliation, targeted brightening, clarifying mask care and barrier-focused recovery to help skin look smoother, brighter and more even without an overly aggressive approach.

At the centre is The Melasma Peel, formulated with 10% Glycolic Acid, 5% Mandelic Acid and 3% Tranexamic Acid, alongside the Kojic Acid Facial, Brightening Mask and Skin Reset & Recovery Treatment.

Includes: The Melasma Peel · Kojic Acid Facial · Brightening Mask · Skin Reset & Recovery Treatment

Use according to the treatment schedule. Visible flaking may occur. Daily SPF is essential.

4 Treatment products
3 Corrective facial days
14 days Controlled treatment cycle
Recovery Built into the plan

Stop booking another facial without a pigment plan.

A few days of glow is not the same as a structured treatment strategy. The Melasma Facials System gives pigmentation-prone skin three deliberately spaced corrective facial days across a 14-day cycle, with recovery built between them. You know what to use, when to use it and when to leave your skin alone.

Melasma requires control, not intensity. The goal is not to peel as often as possible. It is to create a repeatable treatment rhythm your skin can tolerate.

Four products. Four different jobs.

The Brightening Mask opens the cycle gently, the Kojic + Retinol Facial delivers targeted pigment correction, The Melasma Peel provides the strongest resurfacing step, and Skin Reset & Recovery supports the skin between them.

Windyigarn Brightening Mask

Brightening Mask

Gentler clarity + renewal

Mandelic, Lactic, Glycolic and Malic Acids plus Pomegranate Enzyme refresh dullness and surface clarity without making the first step the strongest one.

Windyigarn Kojic and Retinol Facial
02 · Correct

Kojic + Retinol Facial

Targeted pigment + renewal facial

Kojic Acid, Azelaic Acid, Niacinamide, HPR and a multi-acid blend support clearer, smoother and more even-looking skin.

The Melasma Peel

High-activity 15-minute treatment

Windyigarn Skin Reset and Recovery Treatment
04 · Recover

Skin Reset & Recovery

Post-treatment recovery support

Centella, PDRN-focused support and collagen ingredients help replenish hydration and comfort after active facial treatments.

01

Prepare

Begin with the gentler Brightening Mask.

02

Correct

Use Kojic + Retinol as the middle pigment-focused treatment.

03

Resurface

The Melasma Peel is the single high-activity peel in the cycle.

04

Recover

Restore comfort and hydration between corrective days.

One high-activity peel. Not three in one week.

The Melasma Peel is the strongest resurfacing step within the system. It is used once in each 14-day cycle. The surrounding treatments provide different levels of brightening, correction and recovery.

10% Glycolic Acid: high-performance AHA surface renewal.
5% Mandelic Acid: controlled support for dullness and texture.
5% Azelaic Acid: support for uneven tone and post-mark appearance.
3% Tranexamic Acid: targeted pigment support.
Windyigarn The Melasma Peel

The 15-minute resurfacing treatment with a defined place.

The Melasma Peel is used on Day 13 after a quieter lead-in. The goal is visible surface refinement and brighter-looking clarity, not burning, redness or maximum peeling.

3% Tranexamic Acid
Windyigarn Skin Reset and Recovery Treatment

The treatment does not end when the acids come off.

Recovery is part of the treatment architecture. Skin Reset & Recovery is placed after active facial days and again before the final peel to replenish hydration and comfort and stop the cycle becoming relentless.

Your exact 14-day facial cycle.

Three corrective facial days. Four planned recovery treatments. No back-to-back active facials. Follow the sequence and do not add extra peels, retinoid treatments or exfoliating facials outside the plan.

Week 1 · Prepare + correct
Day 1 Brightening Mask Gentler opening treatment for brightness, clarity and surface renewal.
Day 2 Skin Reset & Recovery Recovery-focused treatment. No additional peel or retinoid facial.
Day 3 Normal gentle skincare No additional facial treatment.
Day 4 Quiet day Keep skin calm before the Kojic + Retinol Facial.
Day 5 Kojic + Retinol Facial Pigment-focused corrective facial.
Day 6 Skin Reset & Recovery Recovery only. Do not add another strong active treatment.
Day 7 Normal gentle skincare Give the skin another treatment-free day.
Week 2 · Stabilise + resurface
Day 8 Normal gentle skincare No additional facial treatment.
Day 9 Skin Reset & Recovery Hydration and comfort support before the final resurfacing stage.
Day 10 Normal gentle skincare No peel, needling or intensive resurfacing treatment.
Day 11 Rest Allow the skin to remain settled.
Day 12 Pre-peel quiet day Keep the routine simple before The Melasma Peel.
Day 13 The Melasma Peel The single high-activity resurfacing treatment in the cycle.
Day 14 Skin Reset & Recovery Recovery only. Let skin settle before beginning another cycle.
Do not restart Day 1 just because your skin looks calm on Day 14.

Complete the full cycle. If skin is still dry, red, tight, stinging or visibly flaking at the end, continue gentle recovery-focused skincare rather than beginning another corrective treatment. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is essential.

Already using the Melasma Reset System?

Do not run both routines at full strength on top of each other. The Melasma Reset System remains your daily foundation. The Melasma Facials System becomes a scheduled treatment layer.

When a facial treatment is doing the corrective work, your normal Reset actives step back.

Normal Reset day Use your usual Reset routine.

Continue your normal Reset routine on treatment-free days if skin is calm and comfortable.

Quiet day Reduce the active load.

Before stronger facial treatments, leave out Mela Peel and Glow Cream and keep the routine simple.

Facial day The facial replaces your Reset actives.

Do not use Mela Peel, Brightening Complex or Glow Cream on the same day as the scheduled facial.

Recovery day Recovery only.

Use gentle cleansing, Skin Reset & Recovery and SPF. Do not add exfoliating acids or retinoids.

How to combine the two systems
Day 1
Brightening Mask

Skip Mela Peel. Use the Brightening Mask as directed. Do not use Brightening Complex or Glow Cream afterwards.

Day 2
Recovery only

Gentle cleanse + Skin Reset & Recovery + SPF. Keep Reset actives paused.

Day 3
Resume if calm

If skin feels completely comfortable, return to your normal Reset routine. If not, continue gentle recovery.

Day 4
Quiet day

Skip Mela Peel and Glow Cream before the Kojic + Retinol Facial. Keep skincare simple.

Day 5
Kojic + Retinol Facial

Do not use Mela Peel, Brightening Complex or Glow Cream. The facial is your corrective treatment for the day.

Day 6
Recovery only

Gentle cleanse + Skin Reset & Recovery + SPF. Keep Reset actives paused.

Day 7
Resume if calm

Return to the normal Reset routine only if there is no persistent redness, tightness, stinging or active flaking.

Days 8–11
Normal Reset routine

Continue your usual Reset routine if skin remains comfortable. Day 9 may also be used for Skin Reset & Recovery.

Day 12
Pre-peel quiet day

Skip Mela Peel and Glow Cream. Keep the routine simple before The Melasma Peel.

Day 13
The Melasma Peel

Do not use Mela Peel, Brightening Complex or Glow Cream. The Melasma Peel is your only corrective treatment that day.

Day 14
Recovery only

Gentle cleanse + Skin Reset & Recovery + SPF. Do not restart Reset actives yet.

Day 15+
Resume when comfortable

Return to your normal Reset routine when skin feels settled. If redness, tightness, stinging or flaking remains, continue recovery until it resolves.

What not to add to this cycle.

Do not add another chemical peel, exfoliating pad, Retinal Renew treatment, retinoid treatment, biomicroneedling treatment or other intensive resurfacing step while following this cycle unless you have been individually advised to do so.

Windyigarn Melasma Facials System

I used to spend up to $400 a week on facials.

I know what it feels like to book another appointment and hope this one will finally make the pigmentation look better. Some treatments gave me temporary glow. Some made my skin feel smoother. But the cost kept adding up while the bigger problem remained.

That experience shaped this system. I wanted a repeatable treatment rhythm where each corrective treatment had a purpose and recovery was treated as part of the process.

Not to attack pigmentation-prone skin. To treat it with control — and know what comes next.
Start the plan.

Another one-off facial is still one-off.

The value of the system is not doing more treatments. It is knowing exactly where brightening, targeted correction, stronger resurfacing and recovery belong.

One-off treatment

May give temporary smoothness or glow without giving you the next step.

Random active use

Makes it easy to over-exfoliate or lose track of what your skin has already had.

Facial system

Gives three corrective treatments and recovery a defined place across fourteen days.

Your next facial can be Day 1 of a controlled treatment cycle.

This is not for someone who wants to peel harder every time.

The system contains active facial treatments. Follow the schedule, rinse wash-off treatments as directed, use daily SPF and do not add extra strong actives simply because your skin looks calm.

  • You want an aggressive peel or instant bleaching result.
  • You are unwilling to use daily broad-spectrum SPF.
  • You plan to use the active treatments more often than directed.
  • You want to combine the schedule with additional strong peels, retinoids, exfoliating acids or needling without guidance.
  • Your skin is currently burning, broken, severely irritated or compromised.
  • You are not prepared to let recovery days remain recovery days.

Melasma Facials System FAQ

How often do I use the Melasma Facials System?

Follow the full 14-day cycle. There are three corrective facial days: Brightening Mask on Day 1, Kojic + Retinol Facial on Day 5 and The Melasma Peel on Day 13. Skin Reset & Recovery is used between these treatment days.

Why is The Melasma Peel only used once during the cycle?

It is the strongest resurfacing treatment in the system. The surrounding treatments provide different forms of brightening, correction and recovery so the cycle does not rely on repeated high-activity peeling.

Why does the system include so much recovery?

Because corrective treatment is only half of the plan. Skin Reset & Recovery is deliberately positioned after active treatment days and before the final peel to replenish hydration and comfort.

Do I need visible peeling for the system to work?

No. Visible flaking can occur, but more peeling is not the goal. The system is built around controlled renewal, pigment support and recovery.

Can I use this with the Melasma Reset System?

Yes, but do not layer both routines at full strength. On scheduled facial days, the facial replaces your usual Reset actives. On recovery days, keep the routine recovery-focused. Follow the dedicated guide above.

When can I restart the Melasma Reset System after a facial?

Resume your normal Reset actives when skin feels completely comfortable. If you have persistent redness, tightness, stinging or active flaking, continue gentle recovery-focused skincare until skin has settled.

Can I add other peels, retinal treatments or needling?

Not while following this cycle unless you have been individually advised to do so. The schedule already contains corrective acids and an HPR-containing facial.

Do I still need SPF?

Yes. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is essential when managing melasma-prone skin and while using exfoliating or brightening facial treatments.

Can I use this during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

The Kojic + Retinol Facial contains Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR). If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical care, check with your healthcare professional before using retinoid-containing skincare.

Three corrective facial days. One controlled plan.

Brightening Mask. Kojic + Retinol Facial. The Melasma Peel. Each used once in the 14-day treatment cycle, with recovery deliberately placed between them.

3 corrective facial days · 14-day controlled cycle · recovery built in · daily SPF essential

I added the Facials System to my Reset System and Wow!!!

I have been using the Melasma Reset System and decided to include the Facials System to get things moving faster and also achieve better skin health and appearance. I’m so happy I did because 2 weeks in, I am seeing a massive change and fading of my pigment. These 4 products are just amazing and luxe.

I’m so happy I added this facial system and won’t look back! 10/10

3 piece pigmentation kit

I bought the pigmentation trio, but have also been using the Kojic acid serum for about 6 weeks, to target the pigmentation on my face. Not only have I seen improvement in my pigment I have also noticed a huge improvement in my overall skin texture and hydration. I’ll definitely been interested in using other Windyigarn products in the future. I also love that I am supporting an Australian small business!!
