Barrier support starts before your serum.

Barrier Repair Tonic is the post-cleanse step for skin that needs more than a basic watery layer. It layers water-binding hydration with Ceramide NP, AP and EOP, vegan Cholesterol and Phytosphingosine before your treatment serum and moisturiser go on.

Pentavitin®, Vitamin B5, Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerine and Allantoin support softness, hydration and comfort, while Olive Leaf, Quandong, Davidson's Plum and Gotu Kola add botanical conditioning support.

Replenish after cleansing

A lightweight barrier-lipid layer helps replace the stripped, tight feeling that can follow cleansing or active-heavy routines.

Bind water before moisturiser

Pentavitin®, Panthenol, Glycerine and Sodium Hyaluronate give the next layers of your routine a better hydrated surface to sit on.

Prepare skin for treatment

Use it as the first leave-on step so corrective serums are layered over skin that already feels hydrated, comfortable and supported.

A tonic should do more than make skin feel wet. It should earn its place in the routine.

Ceramides. Plus the lipids that make the complex matter.

The formula combines Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP and Ceramide EOP with vegan Cholesterol and Phytosphingosine. It is a more complete barrier-lipid approach than adding a single ceramide to an otherwise basic water-based step.

The result is a water-light first layer designed to support moisture retention and a stronger, more resilient-looking skin surface without replacing your serum or moisturiser.

A tonic built around four jobs — not one.

Hydration matters, but the formula is designed to do more than deliver a quick splash of water. Each ingredient group has a defined role before the rest of your routine begins.

01Barrier lipids

Ceramide NP, AP and EOP work alongside vegan Cholesterol and Phytosphingosine to support the lipid-rich outer barrier.

02Moisture binding

Pentavitin®, Glycerine and Propanediol help attract and hold water so skin feels less tight and more supple.

03B5 + Hyaluronic Acid

Panthenol and Sodium Hyaluronate add another layer of hydration support for a softer, smoother-feeling skin surface.

04Comfort + conditioning

Allantoin, Gotu Kola, Olive Leaf, Quandong and Davidson's Plum support comfort and skin conditioning after cleansing.

The ingredients doing the heavy lifting.

The formula centres the ingredients that make sense in a barrier-focused first layer: skin-identical lipids, persistent moisture binders, humectants and comfort support.

Ceramide Complex

Ceramide NP, AP and EOP with vegan Cholesterol and Phytosphingosine support the skin's lipid barrier and help reduce moisture loss from a depleted-feeling surface.

Pentavitin Saccharide Isomerate ingredient visual

Pentavitin®

Saccharide Isomerate binds moisture to the skin and supports longer-lasting hydration so the tonic does not disappear into a few minutes of temporary dampness.

Vitamin B5

Conditioning + antioxidant support

Your moisturiser should not have to do all the work.

Barrier Repair Tonic sits earlier in the routine. It gives skin water-binding hydration and a light ceramide-lipid layer before the richer sealing step arrives.

Tonic

Water-light hydration + barrier prep immediately after cleansing.

Serum

Your targeted corrective, peptide, PDRN or treatment step.

Moisturiser

Finishes the routine with richer moisture, emollience and surface comfort.

Light enough to disappear. Structured enough to matter.

Barrier Repair Tonic is not positioned as a heavy treatment or a replacement moisturiser. Its value is in what it adds before those steps: hydration, barrier lipids and comfort in a low-weight layer.

After cleansingReintroduces hydration and barrier-support ingredients before skin is asked to handle the rest of the routine.
Before serumCreates a hydrated first layer without replacing the targeted work of your corrective or recovery serum.
Before creamLets your moisturiser focus on finishing and sealing the routine rather than being the only source of barrier support.

If your skin is highly reactive to Witch Hazel, alcohol or fragrance, patch test before full-face use.

Put it where it belongs: immediately after cleansing.

Barrier Repair Tonic is the first leave-on step. It does not replace a serum, moisturiser or sunscreen; it prepares the skin for them.

01

Cleanse

Start with clean skin and avoid unnecessary over-cleansing when the skin already feels dry or depleted.

02

Barrier Repair Tonic

Apply as the first leave-on layer after cleansing, then allow it to settle before moving to your targeted treatment step.

03

Serum or treatment

Follow with your usual hydrating, peptide, PDRN, pigment or corrective serum according to that product's directions.

04

Moisturise + protect

Finish with moisturiser. In the daytime, complete the routine with your usual sunscreen as directed.

Barrier Repair Tonic + Barrier Repair Cream

Use the tonic first for water-light hydration and barrier-lipid support. Finish with Barrier Repair Cream when you want a richer final layer of moisture and comfort.

Barrier Repair Tonic FAQ

What makes Barrier Repair Tonic different from a basic post-cleanse step?

It is built around barrier-support ingredients rather than relying on a simple watery base. The formula combines Ceramide NP, AP and EOP with vegan Cholesterol, Phytosphingosine, Pentavitin®, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerine, Allantoin and botanical conditioning extracts.

Which ceramides are in the formula?

Barrier Repair Tonic contains Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP and Ceramide EOP, alongside Cholesterol and Phytosphingosine.

What is Pentavitin®?

Pentavitin® is Saccharide Isomerate, a moisture-binding carbohydrate ingredient used to support longer-lasting hydration and a softer skin feel.

Where does the tonic go in my routine?

Use it immediately after cleansing as the first leave-on step, then follow with your serum or treatment, moisturiser and daytime sunscreen.

Can I use it with retinoids, acids or pigment treatments?

It is designed to sit before targeted treatment products. If you use stronger actives, introduce them according to their own directions and reduce frequency if your skin becomes persistently uncomfortable.

Can I use it with Barrier Repair Cream?

Yes. Use Barrier Repair Tonic first, then apply your serum or treatment, and finish with Barrier Repair Cream when you want a richer final moisture layer.

Does it contain fragrance?

Yes. Sandalwood Petals Fragrance appears in the full ingredient list. Patch test first if your skin is known to react to fragranced skincare.

Does it contain Witch Hazel or alcohol?

Yes. Witch Hazel Extract and Alcohol are both listed in the complete formula. If your skin is highly reactive, compromised or sensitive to either ingredient, patch test and introduce the product conservatively.

Is this a replacement for moisturiser?

No. Barrier Repair Tonic is the water-light first layer after cleansing. It supports hydration and barrier lipids, while moisturiser remains the richer finishing step.

Give your barrier support before the rest of your routine begins.

Three ceramides, vegan Cholesterol, Phytosphingosine, Pentavitin®, Vitamin B5, Hyaluronic Acid and Allantoin in one water-light post-cleanse step.
