Exfoliation can support a smoother-looking complexion, but pigment-reactive skin needs a controlled approach. Learn
why aggressive peeling can make melasma-prone skin look worse.

Daily pigment correction without turning every treatment into a peel.

Mela Peel is a leave-on daily pigment treatment built around Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, Alpha Arbutin and HPR. The goal is controlled, consistent support for uneven-looking tone and pigmentation-prone skin — not an aggressive peel cycle.

Correct gradually. Keep the routine controlled.

This is the treatment for skin that needs ongoing pigment support rather than a once-a-week high-intensity resurfacing step.

DailyLeave-on pigment treatment
HPRControlled vitamin A renewal
4Core pigment-support pathways
SPFDaily protection remains essential

Pigment correction needs more than exfoliation.

Mela Peel combines several ingredient roles in one daily step: pigment regulation support, controlled renewal, barrier support and skin conditioning. That makes it a pigment treatment first — not a traditional rinse-off peel.

Target: Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid + Alpha Arbutin support a more even-looking complexion.
Renew: HPR supports controlled vitamin A renewal.
Support: Niacinamide helps support barrier function and overall skin balance.
Condition: Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters + Glycerin support comfort and hydration.
01

Pigment support

Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid and Alpha Arbutin create a layered brightening strategy for visible uneven tone.

02

Controlled renewal

Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate supports gradual vitamin A renewal without making dramatic peeling the objective.

03

Barrier support

Niacinamide helps support a stronger-feeling barrier and more balanced-looking skin while correction continues.

04

Conditioning base

Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Glycerin and Propanediol help keep the treatment base comfortable and conditioned.

Six ingredient stories. Each with a specific job.

The formula is not relying on one brightening ingredient. It combines pigment-support actives with controlled renewal and conditioning support.

Niacinamide ingredient visual

Niacinamide

Supports barrier strength, skin balance and a more even-looking tone while the rest of the formula focuses on pigment correction.

Tranexamic Acid ingredient visual

Tranexamic Acid

A key pigment-support active selected to help improve the appearance of persistent, patchy and uneven-looking tone.

Kojic Acid ingredient visual

Kojic Acid

Supports visible brightening and helps improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation as part of the formula's multi-pathway strategy.

Alpha Arbutin ingredient visual

Alpha Arbutin

Supports a clearer, more uniform-looking complexion and complements the formula's other pigment-focused ingredients.

Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate HPR ingredient visual

HPR

Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate is the formula's vitamin A renewal component, supporting controlled surface refinement and smoother-looking skin.

Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters and Glycerin ingredient visual

Jojoba Esters + Glycerin

Conditioning and humectant support help keep the treatment base comfortable while the corrective ingredients do their work.

Mela Peel and The Melasma Peel are not the same treatment.

They have different jobs. Choose based on whether your routine needs ongoing daily pigment correction or a separate high-activity resurfacing treatment.

Mela Peel

Daily, leave-on pigment correction designed for ongoing support of uneven-looking tone.

  • Format: leave-on daily treatment
  • Focus: pigment regulation + controlled renewal
  • Key actives: HPR, Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, Alpha Arbutin, Niacinamide
  • Best fit: a consistent daily pigment routine

The Melasma Peel

A separate timed, rinse-off resurfacing treatment used less frequently for visible surface dullness and texture.

  • Format: 15-minute rinse-off treatment
  • Focus: higher-activity surface resurfacing
  • Frequency: weekly rather than daily
  • Best fit: skin needing a dedicated resurfacing step

Use it like a treatment, not like a moisturiser.

Daily does not mean more is better. Keep the amount measured, let the formula absorb and avoid turning the rest of the routine into an uncontrolled active stack.

01

Cleanse

Apply to clean, dry skin so the treatment sits on a simple, prepared base.

02

Apply

Use a small, even amount once daily, or follow the timing supplied with your Windyigarn routine.

03

Keep it controlled

Avoid layering additional retinoids, strong exfoliating acids or peel treatments into the same routine unless specifically directed.

04

Protect

Use broad-spectrum SPF every morning. Pigment-focused correction works best when daily UV protection is consistent.

Important: This formula contains Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR). Do not apply to broken, sunburned or actively irritated skin. If skin becomes persistently hot, tight, red, flaky or uncomfortable, reduce frequency or pause use rather than adding more actives.

The formula is focused. The ingredient list should be too.

This is the current Mela Peel formula supplied for the product page, with a focused combination of pigment-support actives, HPR renewal and conditioning ingredients.

Windyigarn Melasma Reset System

  • Daily pigment support + controlled renewal
  • Routine guidance for consistency and trigger awareness
  • Designed for melasma-prone and recurring pigmentation

Mela Peel, explained.

Is Mela Peel a traditional peel?
No. Mela Peel is positioned as a daily leave-on pigment treatment. It contains pigment-support ingredients and HPR for controlled renewal, rather than functioning as a timed rinse-off peel.
Can I use Mela Peel every day?
The current product is designed for daily use. Start according to the supplied directions and reduce frequency if your skin becomes persistently dry, tight, red or uncomfortable.
Does Mela Peel contain retinoid?
Yes. The formula contains Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR), a vitamin A derivative used as part of the controlled renewal pathway.
What is the difference between Mela Peel and The Melasma Peel?
Mela Peel is a leave-on daily pigment treatment. The Melasma Peel is a separate 15-minute rinse-off resurfacing treatment used less frequently. They have different roles and should not be treated as interchangeable products.
Can I combine it with other retinoids or strong acids?
Avoid uncontrolled stacking with additional retinoids, strong exfoliating acids or peel treatments in the same routine. If you are following a structured Windyigarn system, use the products according to that schedule.
Will it make my skin visibly peel?
Dramatic peeling is not the goal. The formula is designed around gradual pigment support and controlled renewal. Persistent burning, excessive flaking or prolonged redness are signs to reduce frequency or pause use.
Do I still need SPF?
Yes. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is an essential part of any pigmentation routine and is particularly important when using a formula that supports skin renewal.
Can I use Mela Peel by itself?
Yes. It can be used as an individual pigment-support treatment. For established or recurring pigmentation, a complete routine may make it easier to keep cleansing, correction, renewal and protection structured.

Daily correction. Multiple pigment pathways. One controlled step.

Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, Alpha Arbutin and HPR in a leave-on treatment designed for consistent pigment support.
